This position reports to the Principal Electrical Engineer and is part of the Systems R&D Software - IDC located in Bangalore and will be an on-site role.
Responsibilities
Define electrical hardware architecture, leading its integration with mechanical and firmware systems across connectivity, compute, user interface, pressure, vibration, optics and thermal domains.
Influence components, topology, and technology selection through trade-off analyses involving performance, cost, power, size, EMI/EMC, and reliability.
Define critical-to-quality and critical-to-function parameters and quantify performance against requirements.
Advance technical roadmaps by evaluating alternative technologies and improving the robustness, reliability, and performance of critical subsystems.
Support diagnostic instruments and devices throughout their lifecycle by addressing regulatory compliance, field issues, yield improvements, and cost optimization.
