Architect Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed architectural and engineering shop drawings based on approved design drawings and project specifications.
• Develop plans, elevations, sections, details, and construction drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or other relevant software.
• Ensure shop drawings are accurate, complete, and compliant with approved design, specifications, and applicable standards.
• Coordinate drawings with structural, MEP, interior, and other disciplines to avoid conflicts and discrepancies.
• Review drawings and identify design or technical issues before submission.
• Incorporate consultant/client comments and revise drawings accordingly.
• Prepare drawings for consultant/client approval and maintain proper drawing records and revisions.
• Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure drawings are practical and suitable for execution.
• Assist the construction team with technical clarifications and drawing-related issues.
• Conduct site visits when required to verify dimensions, existing conditions, and installation requirements.
• Ensure all drawings are issued according to the project schedule and quality requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Relevant experience in preparing shop drawings for construction projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and preferably Revit.
• Strong understanding of construction details, materials, and building methods.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
• Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
• Knowledge of local building codes and project standards is an advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with consultant/client drawing submission and approval processes.
• Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary drawings.
• Strong knowledge of construction documentation and technical detailing.
• Experience working on commercial, residential, retail, or fit-out projects.

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
