Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Architect Engineer to join our engineering consultancy team in Qatar. The ideal candidate must hold a valid UPDA Grade A classification and have proven experience working in an engineering consultancy in Qatar, with strong knowledge of architectural design, technical drawings, building regulations, and authority approval procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and approve architectural drawings, layouts, and design documents in accordance with project requirements.
• Coordinate architectural designs with structural, MEP, and other engineering disciplines.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar building regulations, applicable codes, and authority requirements.
• Prepare and review construction drawings, specifications, and technical submissions.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and relevant government authorities.
• Support the preparation and submission of drawings for authority approvals.
• Conduct site visits and inspections to verify compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Identify design discrepancies and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
• Ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery of architectural documentation.
• Provide technical support throughout the design and project execution stages.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.
• Valid UPDA Grade A classification is mandatory.
• Previous experience in an engineering consultancy in Qatar is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of Qatar building regulations, architectural standards, and authority approval procedures.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant architectural design software.
• Experience coordinating architectural drawings with structural and MEP disciplines.
• Strong technical, analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
• Candidates currently residing in Qatar are preferred.
