ARCHITECT – HOSPITALITY DEVELOPMENT & PROJECTS

About the role

We are looking for a creative, technically strong, and commercially minded Architect to support the design, development, renovation, and expansion of our hotel, hostel, restaurant, and hospitality properties. The Architect will be involved throughout the project lifecycle, from concept development and space planning to design development, technical drawings, construction documentation, site coordination, and project completion. This role is ideal for an architect with experience in hospitality architecture, hotel design, hostel design, restaurant and F&B projects, commercial interiors, renovation, adaptive reuse, or property development. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams, designers, contractors, consultants, engineers, property owners, and project stakeholders to deliver functional, attractive, commercially viable, and brand-aligned hospitality spaces.

Key responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts and design solutions for hotels, hostels, restaurants, bars, cafés, resorts, and other hospitality properties
• Translate business and operational requirements into practical architectural and spatial solutions
• Prepare concept designs, schematic designs, design development, detailed drawings, and construction documentation
• Develop space planning, layouts, circulation, guest areas, back-of-house areas, service areas, and operational spaces
• Design spaces that support the operational requirements of hotel, hostel, restaurant, bar, and F&B businesses
• Prepare and review architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, details, specifications, and presentation materials
• Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP, interior design, landscape, kitchen, lighting, and other specialist consultants
• Assess existing buildings and identify opportunities for hotel, hostel, restaurant, and hospitality conversion or renovation
• Conduct regular site visits and monitor architectural implementation
• Work with project and development teams to ensure designs remain aligned with project budgets and commercial objectives

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch. or equivalent) from a recognized institution
• Professional Architect License / Thai Architect Council registration is an advantage or required where applicable to the scope of work
• Experience in architecture, interior architecture, hospitality design, property development, or construction
• Hospitality experience in hotels, hostels, resorts, restaurants, bars, cafés, or F&B projects is highly preferred
• Strong portfolio demonstrating architectural and/or hospitality projects
• Experience with renovation, refurbishment, property conversion, adaptive reuse, or new-build projects is a strong advantage
• Proficiency in relevant architectural software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or other BIM/design software
• Strong understanding of space planning, functionality, circulation, and hospitality operations
• Experience coordinating with contractors, consultants, engineers, suppliers, and project teams
• Willingness to travel to properties and project sites when required
