What they need

Architect | Hotels & Hospitality Projects

£42,000 - £45,000 + Hybrid Working, Paid Professional Subscriptions, Christmas Shutdown, Enhanced Family Benefits & More!

Hotels are among the most exciting and technically challenging projects in architecture. They demand a balance of design quality, technical expertise, consultant coordination and client management, often involving complex programmes and high-profile stakeholders.

We're currently working with a leading architectural practice looking to grow its hospitality team with the addition of an Architect. This is an excellent opportunity for a recently qualified Architect or someone with 1-3 years' post-Part 3 experience who is looking to develop their career within the hotel and hospitality sector. Whether you're already working on hospitality projects or looking to transition from a larger-scale project background, you'll join an experienced team delivering high-quality projects throughout the UK and internationally. You'll gain exposure to complex schemes, work alongside sector specialists and strengthen your technical delivery skills across all stages of the design process.

The Role

You'll work as part of a dedicated hospitality team delivering projects across multiple RIBA stages, with particular involvement throughout Stages 3-5. This role would suit a well-rounded Architect who enjoys both design development and technical delivery. You'll work closely with senior project leaders, consultants and clients while developing the skills required to take increasing ownership of projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of hotel and hospitality projects across multiple RIBA stages.
  • Develop coordinated technical packages and construction information.
  • Coordinate consultants, specialist contractors and wider project teams.
  • Assist in the management of façade, fit-out and technical drawing packages.
  • Produce and review technical drawings, details and specifications.
  • Attend project meetings, workshops and site visits.
  • Support project delivery through technical design and construction stages.
  • Contribute to the successful coordination and delivery of complex hospitality developments.

Requirements

  • ARB-registered Architect.
  • 1-3 years' post-Part 3 experience.
  • Experience working within a UK architectural practice.
  • Strong knowledge of RIBA Stages 3-5.
  • Good technical and construction knowledge.
  • Experience coordinating consultants and multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Revit proficiency.

Desirable Experience

  • Previous hospitality or hotel project experience.
  • Experience working on larger-scale or complex projects.
  • Exposure to construction-stage delivery and contractor coordination.
  • An interest in developing a specialist career within the hospitality sector.

Salary & Benefits

  • £42,000 - £45,000 salary.
  • Hybrid working.
  • Professional subscriptions paid, including ARB and RIBA.
  • Extended Christmas shutdown in addition to annual leave.
  • Enhanced maternity and paternity package.
  • Childcare contribution following parental leave.
  • Company pension scheme.
  • Season ticket loan.
  • Cycle-to-work scheme.
  • Structured CPD programme and mentoring support.
  • Software training and ongoing professional development.
  • Employee Assistance Programme.
  • Discounted gym membership.
  • Sports teams and regular social events.
  • Employee referral bonus scheme.
  • Modern studio environment with excellent facilities.

This opportunity would suit an Architect looking to build a long-term career within the hospitality sector. You'll work on technically demanding and design-led projects, benefit from excellent mentoring and development opportunities, and join a team with a strong pipeline of exciting work. For someone looking to accelerate their professional growth while developing specialist expertise, this is an outstanding opportunity.
