Architect (Immediate Available)

We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified Chartered Architect to join our in-house architectural team in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will oversee a diverse portfolio of projects, including hotel, commercial, office and residential. This role is responsible for leading architectural design, project management, statutory submissions, contract administration, and multidisciplinary coordination from project inception through completion.

Immediate availability and AP qualification are advantages.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and oversee infrastructure and building projects in compliance with Hong Kong regulations and statutory requirements.
• Manage projects from concept to completion, including feasibility studies, design development, tendering, contract administration, and site supervision.
• Coordinate architectural design, interior fit-out works, and overall project execution.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and government authorities to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Handle statutory submissions, approvals, tender documents, variation orders, and contract administration.
• Monitor project progress, budget, quality, and timelines.
• Review design drawings, project documentation, and government submissions.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.
• Chair client, consultant, and site meetings.
• Conduct site inspections and oversee construction works to ensure quality and compliance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Architecture or equivalent.
• HKIA and/or ARB Registered Architect is mandatory.
• Minimum 10 years' post-qualification experience in Hong Kong architectural projects.
• Solid experience in residential, mixed-use, commercial and/or hotel developments.
• Strong knowledge of Hong Kong building regulations, statutory submissions, tendering and contract administration.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit/BIM and 3D modelling software.
• Proven project management and team leadership experience.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.
