Architect / Interior Designer

Position Summary

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and skilled Interior Designer / Architect with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in the interior design and architectural industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong conceptualization, space planning, and technical detailing capabilities, alongside expert proficiency in industry-standard design and rendering software.

Key Responsibilities1. Design & Conceptualization

• Translate client briefs and conceptual ideas into comprehensive design layouts, mood boards, and aesthetic presentations.
• Develop interior design and architectural concepts for residential, commercial, or fit-out projects from initial sketches to final execution plans.
• Select materials, finishes, color palettes, lighting, and furniture that align with project specifications and budgets.

2. Drafting & Technical Drawings

• Produce accurate, detailed 2D architectural and interior layout drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and ceiling plans using AutoCAD.
• Prepare construction drawings, detail drawings, and shop drawings necessary for site execution and contractor coordination.

3. 3D Modeling & Visualization

• Create highly realistic 3D models and spatial representations using SketchUp and 3Ds MAX.
• Produce compelling visualizations, walkthroughs, and rendering outputs to present design concepts effectively to clients and management.

4. Presentations & Documentation

• Utilize the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) to design high-quality client presentation and mood boards.
• Collaborate with project managers, procurement teams, and site supervisors to ensure design integrity is maintained throughout the construction phase.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of proven professional experience in interior design, architectural firms, or fit-out contracting.
• Software Proficiency:
• Expert command of AutoCAD for 2D drafting and documentation.
• Strong skills in SketchUp and 3Ds MAX for 3D modeling and rendering.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator) for design presentation and graphics.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of interior construction details, joinery works, material properties, and MEP coordination.
• Soft Skills: Excellent aesthetic sense, strong communication and presentation skills, time-management capabilities, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
