Architect / Interior Designer

VDA is looking for a creative, responsible, and technically skilled Architect / Interior Designer to join our Design & Project Execution team.

The candidate will be involved in design conceptualization, drawings, detailing, BOQs, quantity preparation, site coordination, client/consultant coordination, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop architectural and interior design concepts based on client requirements.

* Prepare design proposals, layouts, plans, elevations, and detailed construction drawings.

* Prepare BOQs, specifications, quantities, and assist with project billing and budget tracking.

* Coordinate with clients, architects, interior designers, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.

* Conduct site visits and monitor project progress, quality, detailing, and execution.

* Ensure design intent and drawings are accurately implemented on site.

* Assist in material selection, detailing, finishes, and design decisions.

* Coordinate with the Project Head and Site Coordinator for project execution and progress reporting.

* Support projects from concept development through execution and completion.

* Prepare and maintain Minutes of Meeting (MOM) and follow up on action points.

* Prepare and review 3D views and presentations as required.

* Maintain project documentation and follow structured design and execution processes.

Skills & Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Architecture / Interior Design.

* 25 years of relevant experience in architecture, interior design, and/or interior execution.

* Proficiency in AutoCAD.

* Knowledge of SketchUp, Lumion, V-Ray, Photoshop, or similar software.

* Good understanding of architectural/interior drawings, detailing, and site execution.

* Experience with Excel / Google Sheets for BOQs, billing, quantities, and project tracking.

* Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

* Ability to work collaboratively with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams.

* Familiarity with AI-based tools such as ChatGPT for project communication and design collaboration.
