Architect / Project Coordinator

Job Summary

We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and highly organized Architect / Project Coordinator to support the design development and execution of interior design and fit-out projects from concept to completion.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in 2D drafting, 3D design visualization, and project coordination, with the ability to coordinate effectively with suppliers, contractors, internal teams, and clients to ensure projects progress according to approved designs, schedules, and quality standards.

This role requires a combination of creative design skills, technical knowledge, and coordination abilities to ensure smooth project implementation, timely follow-ups, and effective communication throughout all project phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative design concepts, layouts, and presentations for projects.
• Prepare 2D drawings, 3D models, renderings, and visual presentations.
• Create high-quality 3D models and realistic renderings using 3ds Max.
• Prepare mood boards, material selections, and design proposals.
• Coordinate design development and project execution from initial briefing to final handover.
• Liaise with suppliers, contractors, consultants, and external vendors regarding project requirements and deliverables.
• Prepare and monitor project schedules, deadlines, and milestones.
• Conduct site visits to monitor work progress and ensure compliance with approved designs.
• Follow up on materials, samples, quotations, deliveries, and installation schedules.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to resolve design and site execution issues.
• Prepare project reports, progress updates, meeting notes, and other relevant documentation.
• Ensure project deliverables meet company standards, approved specifications, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with management, design, and operations teams to ensure smooth project implementation.
• Assist in monitoring project costs, material requirements, and variations.
• Support the project team during final inspections, snagging, and handover.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience (UAE) in interior design, fit-out, or project coordination.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, 3ds Max, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong 3D visualization and rendering skills.
• Good understanding of interior design drawings, materials, finishes, and fit-out execution.
• Excellent coordination, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and follow-up skills when dealing with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams.
• Experience in restaurant, retail, hospitality, or commercial fit-out projects is an advantage.
• Knowledge of UAE suppliers, contractors, and fit-out practices is preferred.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects and manage competing deadlines.
• Attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
