We are seeking a Senior Architect with strong leadership capability, someone who can both design at a high technical level and lead a team with clarity, discipline, and inspiration.

Job Description
Technical Part: Design Leadership & Passive-Design Performance

• Lead design development and construction documentation for assigned projects; ensure compliance with building codes, zoning regulations, and internal design standards.
• Calculate and validate Energy Use Intensity (EUI) with the lowest possible margin of error against actual values for each project, applying passive-house principles such as envelope performance, shading, and glazing ratio, to reduce operational energy consumption for assigned projects.
• Specify high-performance materials and verify quantity/cost take-off (BOQ) accuracy against actual project usage.
• Coordinate technical input from structural, MEP, and other consultants; resolve design and detailing issues during construction.

Management Part: Project & People Coordination

• Review and mentor junior architects, including on EUI calculation methods and passive-design detailing.
• Act as the primary point of coordination with clients, designers, and main contractors of the project, as well as other relevant coordinators, to ensure smooth collaboration from the start through to the final proposal presentation to the client.
• Report risks and resource needs to management and propose improvements to team workflows and design approaches that respond to client needs while remaining aligned with practical realities.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's or master's degree in architecture.
• 5+ years of experience (at least 2 prior jobs).
• Eligible to hold an architect license.
• Demonstrated experience calculating EUI and applying passive-house/green-building design strategies.
• EDGE, LEED Green Associate, or an equivalent green-building credential would be a plus.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp/Revit, Microsoft Office, and Canva.
