Architect/Drafting Intern

II. Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, revising, and updating architectural drawings and construction plans using AutoCAD or other drafting software.
• Help prepare detailed drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections, and other technical drawings as required.
• Assist in reviewing architectural plans and ensuring consistency with project requirements and specifications.
• Support the preparation of as-built drawings based on actual site conditions and approved revisions.
• Assist in organizing, filing, and maintaining architectural drawings, technical documents, and project records.
• Coordinate with Project Engineers, Architects, and other team members regarding drawing revisions and project requirements.
• Assist in conducting site inspections or site measurements when necessary and under the supervision of authorized personnel.
• Help prepare material schedules, drawing lists, and other technical documentation.
• Ensure proper labeling, version control, and organization of digital drawing files.
• Perform other related duties and responsibilities assigned by the immediate supervisor.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Science in Architecture, Drafting Technology, or a related technical program.
• Must be eligible for internship or On-the-Job Training (OJT) as required by the school.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and architectural drafting principles.
• Familiarity with architectural plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction drawings is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.
• Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or other 3D modeling software is an advantage.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and willing to learn.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to follow instructions, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with the project team.
• Willing to work on office-based drafting tasks and participate in site-related activities when required.

Pay: Php150.00 per day
