Architectural Assistant / Architectural Designer

About the role

Integrated Design Associates (IDA) is seeking an agile, design-driven, and technically proficient Architectural Assistant to join our Hong Kong team. Working collaboratively alongside Project Architects and design leads, you will play an active role in advancing design concepts, 3D parametric studies, technical documentation, and BIM delivery across large-scale aviation hubs, transit infrastructure, and high-performance commercial developments.

Key responsibilities

• Design & Presentation: Translate conceptual schemes into refined architectural layouts, physical/digital models, 3D visualizations, and high-impact presentation decks.
• Technical Documentation: Assist in preparing architectural drawing packages in alignment with project design intent and statutory guidelines.
• BIM Authoring: Actively build and maintain project models in Autodesk Revit up to LOD 300/350, adhering to project BIM execution plans and documentation standards.
• Package Delivery: Ensure disciplined file management, drawing issue logs, and quality-controlled deliverables against stage submission milestones.

About you

• Degree in Architecture or equivalent

• Minimum 3–5 years of post-graduate architectural design and documentation experience. Prior exposure to large-scale infrastructure, transportation/aviation facilities, or complex commercial projects is an advantage.

• Proven hands-on proficiency in Revit is essential, with solid experience in model authoring, sheet set up, and working within multi-disciplinary BIM workflows.

• Good command of Rhino (especially for complex geometry, free-form massing, or facade modeling) is highly preferable.

• Fluent in written and spoken English

• Immediate or early availability is highly preferred.
