Architectural Assistant (Part 1)

About the role

Assist the Project Architect and Head of Team in the design development and documentation of architectural projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and update architectural drawings, plans, elevations, sections and details
• Assist in preparing submission drawings and documents to relevant authorities
• Assist with 3D modelling, visualisation, presentation materials and design studies
• Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, M&E and other consultants' information
• Attend project meetings, site visits and inspections when required
• Maintain proper filing and control of project drawings, documents and revisions
• Carry out other architectural and project-related duties as assigned by the Project Architect or Head of Team

About you

• LAM Part I qualification or equivalent recognised architectural qualification
• Proficiency in AutoCAD
• Working knowledge of SketchUp / Revit / BIM would be an advantage
• Basic understanding of architectural design, construction drawings and building construction
• Good understanding of drawing presentation, documentation and detailing
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while knowing when to seek guidance
• Good time management and ability to work under project deadlines
• Demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop professional architectural knowledge
• Produce work with accuracy, attention to detail and good drawing standards
