Architectural BIM Modeller

About the role

Technik Asia Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Architectural BIM Modeller. This is a full-time position based in Singapore, where you will play a crucial role in creating detailed and accurate Building Information Models (BIM) that form the foundation of our architectural projects. As an Architectural BIM Modeller, you will be responsible for translating architectural designs into comprehensive 3D models, ensuring precision, coordination, and compliance with project standards. This role is integral to our design process, enabling seamless collaboration across disciplines and facilitating informed decision-making throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Creating and maintaining detailed 3D BIM models using industry-standard software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications
• Developing architectural drawings, sections, and elevations from BIM models for construction documentation and client presentations
• Coordinating with structural, MEP, and other disciplines to resolve clashes and ensure model integrity across all building systems
• Updating and refining BIM models based on design changes, client feedback, and project requirements throughout the design development phases
• Preparing schedules, quantity take-offs, and material lists derived from BIM data to support project planning and procurement
• Collaborating with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure BIM standards and protocols are consistently applied
• Conducting quality assurance checks on BIM models to identify and rectify errors, inconsistencies, and omissions
• Supporting the generation of visualisations, renderings, and presentation materials from BIM models for client communications
• Documenting BIM processes, standards, and workflows to maintain consistency and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team

About you

• Proven experience as an Architectural BIM Modeller or similar role within an architectural practice or design consultancy
• Advanced proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, ArchiCAD, or equivalent platform
• Strong understanding of architectural design principles, construction methodologies, and building codes relevant to Singapore and the region
• Excellent knowledge of 2D and 3D design, including technical drawing standards and conventions
• Demonstrated experience in multi-disciplinary coordination and clash detection within complex BIM environments
• Proficiency in creating comprehensive construction documentation and technical drawings from BIM models
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain model accuracy and consistency across large-scale projects
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary teams
• Problem-solving capabilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving modelling challenges
• Familiarity with BIM standards, protocols, and best practices in the construction and architectural industry
