Architectural CAD Technician

Job Summary

Design Domain Consultants is looking for an experienced CAD Technician with 3–4 years of relevant experience in AutoCAD and technical/working drawings. The candidate will be responsible for preparing, modifying, and maintaining accurate drawings for interior design, fit-out, and project execution works.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and modify 2D AutoCAD drawings as per project requirements.
• Develop detailed working/execution drawings for interior fit-out projects.
• Prepare floor plans, furniture layouts, partition layouts, ceiling plans, elevations, sections, and detailed drawings.
• Convert design concepts and sketches into accurate technical drawings.
• Coordinate with Designers, Project Managers, Consultants, and Site Teams.
• Incorporate client/consultant comments and prepare drawing revisions.
• Maintain proper drawing standards, layers, dimensions, annotations, and title blocks.
• Prepare and manage DWG and PDF drawing sets.
• Ensure drawings are accurate and suitable for site execution.
• Maintain drawing revisions and update drawings as per site requirements.
• Coordinate drawings with other project requirements and identify discrepancies.
• Support the design and project team with timely drawing submissions.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of relevant experience in CAD drafting/technical drawings.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
• Experience in Interior Design / Architecture / Construction / Fit-out projects will be preferred.
• Good understanding of working and execution drawings.
• Ability to read and understand architectural/interior drawings.
• Good knowledge of dimensions, scales, layers, blocks, annotations, and drawing standards.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
• Good coordination and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with commercial office/interior fit-out projects.
• Knowledge of furniture, partitions, false ceiling, flooring, and other interior details.
• Basic knowledge of SketchUp/Revit will be an added advantage.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
