About the role

NIPPON BUILDERS PTE. LTD is seeking an Architectural Coordinator to join our growing team in the Tuas North West Region. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in supporting our architectural and design operations. As an Architectural Coordinator, you will serve as a key liaison between architects, engineers, clients, and construction teams, ensuring seamless project execution and effective communication throughout the design and construction phases. This role is essential to maintaining project timelines, quality standards, and client satisfaction across our portfolio of projects.

What you'll be doing

• Coordinating and managing architectural documentation, including drawings, specifications, and technical schedules
• Liaising between architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure effective communication and project alignment
• Preparing and organising project files, ensuring all documentation is current, accurate, and readily accessible
• Assisting with the coordination of design meetings, site inspections, and client presentations
• Tracking project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure adherence to schedules
• Supporting the preparation of tender documents, reports, and project submissions
• Maintaining and updating architectural databases and project management systems
• Coordinating with relevant authorities and stakeholders regarding approvals and compliance
• Assisting in the resolution of design-related queries and site-based issues
• Supporting the senior architectural team with administrative and technical coordination tasks

What we're looking for

• Diploma or degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related built environment discipline
• 2–4 years of experience in an architectural coordination or similar role within a design or construction environment
• Strong proficiency in architectural software, including CAD (AutoCAD or similar), BIM tools (Revit), and project management software
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy in documentation
• Knowledge of Singapore's building codes, regulations, and approval processes is advantageous
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
• Problem-solving aptitude and a proactive approach to challenges
