ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER AND ASSISTANT PROJECT MANAGER

FULL JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a motivated, detail oriented Architectural Designer and

Assistant Project Manager to support our design team in creating,

documenting, and managing all projects through completion. The candidate

must have a strong mixture of creativity, communication, and problemsolving

skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Ability to perform a variety of design related tasks while assisting

Interior/Architectural Design Team

• Create detailed set of construction drawings in Revit or AutoCad

consisting of FFE specifications, all finishes, appliances, cabinetry,

plumbing, lighting, and tile selections

• Create presentation documents (meeting agendas, meeting notes,

etc.) to support all the above for client meetings

• Ability to work with the Architectural team to draft existing condition

plans in Revit or AutoCad, based on site measurements

• Weekly communication with Project Managers and Site Supervisors to

ensure projects are completed thoroughly and successfully in a timely

manner

• Work with Principal Architect to strategically source materials

consistent with the design specifications

• Procurement management to ensure all items are properly acquired so

that projects can proceed efficiently and successfully

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Is proficient in Revit or AutoCad

• Has a full understanding of field dimensions and construction

drawings for site verification

• Has a minimum 4 years of related experience with a previous

residential design firm

• Must be very organized and detail oriented

• Is an efficient worker with good time management skills

• Possesses the ability to learn new software for project management

and communication

• Has strong knowledge of Excel

• Has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize

multiple projects under pressure

• Is independent and self-motivated
