About the Opportunity

An established Florida-based architecture firm is seeking an experienced Architectural Designer / Architect (Level 2–3) to support its growing commercial project portfolio throughout South Florida.

This is a full-time, primarily remote opportunity for an architectural professional who enjoys hands-on technical production, collaborative project delivery, and involvement throughout the architectural process, from conceptual design through construction administration.

The ideal candidate is proficient in Revit, experienced in commercial architecture, and comfortable coordinating with project teams, consultants, and senior architects.

Location Requirement: Candidates must reside within approximately 1–2 hours of Hollywood, Florida. Although daily work is remote, the position requires weekly in-person team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce and coordinate architectural drawings, construction documents, and project deliverables using Revit.
• Support commercial architecture projects from conceptual design through construction documentation and construction administration.
• Collaborate directly with senior architects, consultants, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Assist with RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, consultant reviews, and permitting activities.
• Apply applicable building codes, zoning regulations, fire protection requirements, and jurisdictional standards.
• Coordinate multiple project assignments while maintaining quality, schedules, and deadlines.
• Communicate project updates and coordinate revisions throughout the design and construction process.
• Participate in regular virtual collaboration and weekly in-person team meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from a NAAB-accredited program.
• Professional experience in commercial architecture consistent with an Architect Level 2 or Level 3 position.
• Strong Revit proficiency , particularly in architectural production and construction documentation.
• Experience coordinating architectural drawings and working with engineering consultants.
• Understanding of building codes, construction methods, permitting, and construction administration.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative architectural team.
• Architectural licensure preferred for Level 2 and required for Level 3.

Work Environment & Compensation

• Schedule: Full-time, standard business hours.
• Work Arrangement: Remote with approximately one in-person team meeting per week near Hollywood, FL.
• Collaboration: The team works closely together through Zoom, including camera-on collaboration throughout the workday.
• Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience, qualifications, and architectural level, following AIA salary guidelines.
• Location: Must reside within approximately 1–2 hours of Hollywood, FL.
