Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and creative Space Planner to create efficient and aesthetically pleasing layouts for U.S.-based clients. You'll analyze space requirements, develop design concepts, and produce detailed floor plans and 3D models using CAD software like AutoCAD and SketchUp. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in interior design or architecture who can balance functionality, safety regulations, and client needs while optimizing the use of physical spaces. This is an on-site position in San Pedro Sula.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct space assessments and analyze spatial requirements and client needs.
• Develop and present design concepts, layouts, and space planning proposals.
• Create detailed floor plans, 3D models, and design proposals using design software.
• Collaborate with clients, architects, interior designers, and project stakeholders to refine designs.
• Ensure all designs comply with building codes, safety regulations, and project goals.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for project execution and material selections.
• Review and update project documentation, specifications, and design timelines.
• Optimize space utilization to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and visual appeal.
• Conduct post-occupancy evaluations and provide support during the implementation phase.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new materials, and best practices in spatial design.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in space planning, interior design, architecture, or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software and design tools (such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit).
• Familiarity with visual presentation software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator).
• Strong understanding of architectural and design principles, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Creative problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong writte n and spoken English.
