Architectural Designer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Architectural Design and Drafting

• Develop architectural concepts and prepare draft and schematic drawings for company projects.
• Review completed projects against approved architectural MBPF (Mall Building Permit Form) drawings to ensure compliance with design requirements and approved plans.
• Prepare and revise architectural drawings and design presentations as needed.

2. Site Supervision

• Monitor architectural works and activities at project sites to ensure proper implementation according to approved plans, specifications, and design standards.
• Conduct site inspections to identify construction issues, discrepancies, and deviations from approved drawings.
• Coordinate with contractors and site personnel to address architectural concerns and ensure proper execution of work.

3. Quality Control and Regulatory Compliance

• Inspect and monitor the quality of architectural works to ensure compliance with company standards and project specifications.
• Check compliance with applicable local building codes, regulatory requirements, and mall rules and regulations, including mall terms and conditions.
• Identify design or construction deficiencies and recommend appropriate corrective actions.

4. Project Coordination

• Act as a liaison between management, third-party contractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
• Coordinate project requirements, design revisions, site concerns, and other architectural matters to ensure smooth project implementation.
• Facilitate clear communication among all parties involved in the project.

5. Project Design and Schedule Monitoring

• Monitor project schedules, progress, and architectural deliverables to ensure completion within the prescribed timelines.
• Identify and report discrepancies, design conflicts, and site-related issues that may affect project execution.
• Coordinate with concerned departments and project stakeholders to resolve issues and prevent unnecessary delays.
• Ensure that all assigned project deliverables meet established deadlines and company requirements.

6. Reporting and Documentation

• Maintain accurate records of architectural drawings, site inspection findings, project updates, and design revisions.
• Prepare progress reports and communicate project concerns, recommendations, and updates to management.
• Assist in preparing graphic presentations and other visual materials for project proposals and reporting.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp (SKP), 3D Max, or other relevant design and drafting tools.
• Knowledgeable in graphic design, layout, and visual presentation.
• Has good leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple projects and tasks.
• Honest, hardworking, responsible, and highly dependable.
• Preferably possess a valid driver's license and have their own motorcycle but not required.
• Willing to travel to different project sites and handle field assignments.
• Willing to work overtime when necessary.
