Architectural Designer

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
• 7–10 years of professional experience with an architecture, engineering, or multidisciplinary design practice
• Demonstrated senior-level technical competency in architectural design and documentation
• Extensive experience preparing and coordinating architectural drawing sets and construction-document sets
• Strong experience with construction documents, design development, systems integration, and structural integration
• Practical understanding of construction means and methods
• Ability to read and coordinate architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings
• Familiarity with U.S. building codes, zoning requirements, permitting processes, and architectural drawing standards
• Ability to research and develop project specifications
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Cloud—or closely comparable architectural software
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Strong attention to detail, organization, critical thinking, and time management
• Ability to interpret sketches, redlines, design direction, and technical comments accurately
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, revisions, deadlines, and unresolved questions independently
• Reliable computer equipment and stable high-speed internet suitable for large architectural files and remote meetings
• Availability during the agreed working schedule aligned with Pacific Time

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with high-end residential, hospitality, commercial interiors, adaptive reuse, or tenant-improvement projects
• Experience working remotely with U.S. architecture, engineering, or construction firms
• Experience coordinating directly with architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, and consultants
• Experience supporting projects during permitting and construction
• Experience with visualization, rendering, and presentation software
• Familiarity with sustainable design principles and modern building technologies
• Familiarity with Bluebeam Revu and cloud-based project collaboration platforms

We are looking for someone who demonstrates accountability, initiative, accuracy, and consistent follow-through. The selected contractor must be able to recognize and resolve problems—not simply complete assigned drafting.

The successful candidate should ask informed questions, confirm priorities, maintain organized documentation, coordinate proactively, and communicate progress without waiting to be contacted.

All project drawings, designs, models, documents, client information, and company information must remain confidential. All work produced under this engagement will remain the property of the company.
