Work closely with customers, our quantity surveying team and the people building your designs.

What you will do

• Develop residential renovation and extension concepts that balance design, budget and buildability.

• Prepare coordinated construction drawings and specifications.

• Prepare and coordinate council consent documentation, lodge applications and respond to council requests for information within your role and licence scope.

• Work with customers, consultants, the QS team and site teams to resolve details and keep designs practical.

• Help develop clear design processes as our department grows.

What you bring

• Current LBP Design 2 licence.

• New Zealand residential design experience, including renovation or extension projects.

• Practical knowledge of council consent documentation and responding to council queries.

• Confident design software skills and clear communication with customers and construction teams.

• A portfolio that shows your contribution and how you solve real design problems.

The practical details

Based in our office at 415 Remuera Road, Auckland. Full-time preferred; we will also consider a minimum of three fixed office days each week. Competitive remuneration, discussed according to experience and agreed working hours.
