Architectural Drafter

About the Role:
We're looking for a detail-oriented AutoCAD Drafter to join our team in Bayside, NY. The ideal candidate has strong AutoCAD skills, experience preparing construction documents.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and revise construction document (CD) sets using AutoCAD, including plans, sections, elevations, and details
• Research and apply NYC zoning regulations (FAR, setbacks, lot coverage, use groups, etc.) to project drawings
• Prepare drawings and documentation in compliance with NYC DOB filing requirements
• Review and redline drawings based on feedback from supervisors, consultants, or DOB examiners
• Maintain organized, up-to-date drawing files and revision logs
• Assist with DOB filings (Job Applications, PW1s, zoning diagrams) as needed

Requirements:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D drafting required; 3D a plus)
• Experience producing construction documents for residential and/or commercial projects
• Understanding of NYC Building Code basics as they relate to drafting
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work from sketches, markups, or field notes
