AP Remodeling Inc. is looking for an experienced Architectural Drafter / Permit Coordinator to support residential remodels, additions, ADUs, and custom home builds.

We’re seeking someone who combines strong drafting skills with practical permitting experience—someone who takes ownership of drawing production, consultant coordination, and moving projects through approval.

Your responsibilities:

    - Prepare and revise permit drawings, including site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections, and construction details.

    - Verify existing conditions and research zoning, building requirements, and property constraints.

    - Coordinate drawing packages with project managers, engineers, and other consultants.

    - Manage permit submissions, plan-check corrections, resubmittals, and required clearances.

    - Maintain clear schedules and permit tracking, identifying missing information and resolving issues early.

Your experience & skillset:

    - Proven experience preparing residential construction and permit drawing sets.

    - Hands-on permitting experience with LADBS and other Los Angeles–area jurisdictions.

    - Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or comparable drafting software.

    - A solid understanding of residential construction, building codes, and plan-check requirements.

    - Strong organization, clear communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects.

    - Experience with custom homes and substantial additions is a plus.
