Architectural Draftsperson / Revit Technician

About the role

You will work directly with Australian designers and project estimators, assisting them with the production and development of architectural and construction documentation. This is not simply a tracing role. You will understand drawings and construction, interpret mark-ups, notice when something doesn't look right and be confident enough to ask questions.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with architectural floor plans
• Produce demolition plans
• Create reflected ceiling plans
• Develop floor finishes plans
• Produce furniture and equipment plans
• Create internal elevations
• Develop sections and details
• Produce joinery drawings
• Manage drawing revisions
• Understand & Interpret Australian building code (NCC)

About you

• 3+ years' professional architectural drafting experience
• Excellent AutoCAD skills
• Revit experience
• Strong construction-documentation skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good written and spoken English
• Ability to interpret PDF and Bluebeam mark-ups
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
• Reliable internet and computer equipment
• Ability to work during Queensland, Australia business hours
