Architectural Draughtsman

Role Description The Architectural Draughtsman will be responsible for preparing detailed architectural and construction drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and working details for residential and commercial projects. This full-time, on-site role in Mumbai involves coordinating with architects, engineers, and project managers to translate design concepts into accurate technical drawings and ensuring compliance with local building codes and standards. The role includes revising drawings based on design changes, maintaining organized drawing records, and supporting the planning team with layout optimization and design documentation. The Architectural Draughtsman will also assist in preparing drawings for approvals, collaborating with site teams to resolve drawing-related queries, and contributing to the overall quality and efficiency of project delivery.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Architectural Drawings and Drawing, with the ability to produce clear, precise technical documentation.
• Foundational knowledge of Architecture and Planning, including spatial design, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience creating and updating Construction Drawings, including detailed working drawings and execution plans.
• Proficiency in relevant CAD/drawing software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or similar) and familiarity with digital file management.
• Diploma or degree in Architecture, Architectural Draughtsmanship, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy in measurement and notation, and the ability to meet project timelines.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
• Prior experience in real estate or building construction projects in Mumbai or similar urban environments is an advantage.
