Architectural Project Manager – Multi-Family Residential Projects

Job Overview

BMA Architecture is seeking an experienced and dedicated Architectural Project Manager to lead large-scale multi-family residential projects from design through construction. In this role, you’ll serve as a primary point of contact for clients and consultants while overseeing projects to ensure they meet design intent, technical requirements, schedules, and budgets.

You’ll manage the full project lifecycle—coordinating teams, reviewing drawings and documentation, communicating with clients and consultants, and maintaining a proactive, solutions-focused approach throughout each project.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural projects from schematic design through construction completion
• Collaborate with the internal project team to meet client goals, schedules, and budgets
• Serve as the primary liaison between the firm, clients, consultants, and contractors
• Review and oversee the accuracy of drawings, specifications, and construction documentation
• Coordinate with consultants to ensure complete and coordinated drawing sets
• Maintain organized project files, correspondence, material selections, and documentation
• Proactively manage project timelines, deliverables, and issue resolution throughout the project lifecycle
• Participate in client meetings, project coordination, and construction administration as needed

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Architecture
• Registered Architect (RA) preferred
• 5–10 years of professional architectural experience, ideally with multi-family or high-volume residential projects
• Professional experience with Revit is required
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required
• Strong knowledge of building codes, construction standards, and architectural detailing
• Strong project coordination and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
• Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
