The Position: We are seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager to join our Newport Beach team . This opportunity is ideal for an architectural professional with 7+ years of experience and a proven track record managing projects, clients, consultants, schedules, budgets, and internal teams.

The strongest candidates will bring a diverse commercial background with experience across retail, restaurant, mixed-use, tenant improvement, and landlord-side projects . You should be comfortable shifting between project types, taking ownership, and serving as a trusted point of contact for clients.

This role is best suited for candidates with a strong commercial architecture background rather than primarily single-family residential experience.

What You'll Do

• Lead projects from design and documentation through permitting and construction.
• Serve as the primary client contact and take ownership of project delivery.
• Manage schedules, budgets, consultants, contractors, and internal project teams .
• Coordinate retail, restaurant, commercial, mixed-use, tenant, and landlord-side projects.
• Lead client and consultant meetings while maintaining clear communication and expectations.
• Review project documentation for quality, coordination, and constructability.
• Support permitting, bidding, RFIs, submittals, and construction administration.
• Mentor junior team members and help drive successful project execution.

Job Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional architecture experience .
• Proven experience functioning as an Architectural Project Manager .
• Strong commercial portfolio; retail and restaurant experience highly preferred .
• Tenant-side and landlord-side project experience strongly preferred.
• Strong client-facing communication and project ownership skills.
• Ability to manage consultants, schedules, budgets, teams, and contractors .
• Proficiency with Revit .
• Southern California / Orange County project experience preferred.
• California architectural license or progress toward licensure preferred.
• Stable career history and ability to successfully manage multiple priorities.
