ARCHITECTURAL SUPERVISOR ENGINEER

• Supervise and monitor architectural works at construction sites to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Review architectural shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and samples submitted by the contractor.
• Conduct regular site inspections and verify that construction works are executed in accordance with approved documents and applicable standards.
• Coordinate with the consultant’s project team, contractor, client, and other disciplines to resolve architectural and construction-related issues.
• Review and verify dimensions, levels, finishes, layouts, and architectural details prior to and during construction.
• Inspect and approve completed works and issue inspection reports in accordance with the project inspection procedures.
• Identify discrepancies, defects, non-conforming works, and clashes between architectural, structural, and MEP works, and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
• Monitor the quality of workmanship and materials to ensure compliance with approved specifications and project standards.
• Review contractor’s technical submissions, RFIs, material samples, and proposed alternatives and provide recommendations to the Project Manager/Lead Architect.
• Coordinate architectural works with structural, MEP, civil, and other disciplines to ensure proper integration and avoid conflicts.
• Monitor construction progress and report delays, site issues, and outstanding works to the Project Manager.
• Verify contractor’s as-built drawings and ensure that architectural changes and site modifications are properly recorded.
• Participate in coordination meetings, progress meetings, technical meetings, and site inspections as required.
• Prepare and review site observation reports, inspection requests, snag lists, and non-conformance reports related to architectural works.
• Monitor rectification of defective and outstanding works and verify completion before closure.
• Ensure that approved materials and finishes are used and properly installed in accordance with project specifications.
• Review architectural details and provide technical clarification to contractors when required, within the consultant’s scope and authority.
• Assist in reviewing project documentation, including drawings, specifications, schedules, reports, and handover documents.
• Monitor compliance with applicable building codes, authority requirements, health and safety requirements, and project standards.
• Coordinate with relevant authorities, where required, for inspections, approvals, and technical requirements.
• Maintain proper records of inspections, approvals, site instructions, correspondence, and architectural issues.
• Assist the Project Manager/Lead Architect in monitoring the overall quality, progress, and compliance of architectural works.
• Support the project team during testing, commissioning, snagging, final inspections, and project handover.
• Perform other architectural supervision and coordination duties as assigned by the Project Manager or Senior Architect.
