Architectural Supervisor / Manager

Responsibilities & Authorities:

• Supervise and coordinate all architectural works at the construction site.
• Ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and other departments.
• Monitor work progress, quality, materials, and workmanship.
• Review drawings, material submissions, shop drawings, and samples.
• Identify and resolve architectural/site issues and coordinate necessary rectification works.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements.
• Monitor project schedule and report progress or delays to management.
• Verify completed works and assist with inspection, handover, and defect rectification.
• Provide guidance and supervision to site staff and subcontractors.
• Have authority to request rectification of work that does not comply with approved drawings or specifications.
• Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the management.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a professional Certificates, Diploma, Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, Building, Construction, or related field.
• At least 3-4 year(s) of working experience in architectural works within the construction industry.
• Relevant experience in architectural works within the construction industry.
• Good knowledge of architectural drawings, construction methods, and building materials.
• Able to coordinate and supervise contractors and subcontractors.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Knowledge in relevant statutory requirement pertaining to constructions, safety, building by laws will be an added advantage.
• Possess own transport.
• For Manager level: Proven experience in managing architectural teams and coordinating major construction projects.
