About the role.

Located in Tauranga and forming part of a centralised Design team, you will provide support to our nationwide Classic Builders branches by carrying out residential design activities to the highest industry standards.

We are seeking an Intermediate Architectural Technician to join our centralised team in Tauranga. In this varied role, you'll bring single and dual dwelling scheme plans and working drawings to life using the latest ArchiCAD software. This is your chance to take on larger, more complex projects, sharpen your technical expertise, and make a genuine impact through smart, efficient design solutions that keep our clients delighted and our builds compliant with the highest standards. You'll thrive as part of a collaborative, supportive team that values quality, initiative, and continuous growth — building strong relationships with branches, consultants, and councils along the way, while also mentoring junior team members and soaking up development opportunities of your own.
