About the Role

Graham Anthony Associates is an established architectural and planning practice based in Garstang, Lancashire. We are looking for an experienced Architectural Technician to join our growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated technician looking to develop their career while working on a varied portfolio of residential, leisure, conversion and mixed-use projects.

You will be involved in projects from initial design and planning through to Building Regulations and detailed construction information, giving you the opportunity to develop a broad range of technical and project experience.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will include:

• Producing high-quality architectural and technical drawings.
• Preparing planning and Building Regulations drawings.
• Developing detailed construction information and technical details.
• Working on residential new-build developments and individual houses.
• Preparing drawings for extensions, alterations and building conversions.
• Working on leisure and mixed-use developments.
• Assisting with projects from initial concept through to construction.
• Liaising with clients, consultants and other project team members.
• Ensuring drawings and information are accurate and produced to a high standard.
• Working within project programmes and agreed deadlines.

About You

We are looking for someone with:

• 3–5 years' experience working as an Architectural Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD.
• Experience using Photoshop.
• A good understanding of UK Planning and Building Regulations.
• Experience producing detailed technical and construction drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organisational and time-management skills.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to take responsibility for your work.
• Good communication skills when dealing with clients and other professionals.
• Job-running experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
• The ability to travel reliably to our Garstang office.
