POSITION INFO: Architectural Technologist About the Role We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Architectural Technologist to join our team. This role is ideal for an intermediate-level professional who is passionate about commercial architecture and has strong technical drawing capabilities. You will play a key role in developing accurate architectural documentation, collaborating with project teams, and conducting site visits to ensure projects are executed to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities Produce accurate and detailed architectural drawings using AutoCAD and Revit. Prepare technical drawings and construction documentation for commercial projects. Develop building elevations, sections, and detailed design drawings. Design and detail bulkheads and other architectural features. Interpret architectural concepts and translate them into technical documentation. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, verify measurements, and ensure compliance with project specifications. Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure all drawings comply with relevant building regulations and industry standards. Update and revise drawings as project requirements evolve. Minimum Requirements Intermediate-level experience as an Architectural Technologist. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is essential. Experience working on commercial building projects. Strong technical drawing and detailing skills. Experience producing elevations, sections, and construction documentation. Knowledge of bulkhead detailing and architectural finishes. Ability to conduct site inspections and liaise with contractors. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
