We are looking for faculty members who can bring strong architectural knowledge into the studio and classroom while preparing students for the evolving demands of the profession.

Job Description

The selected faculty members will be responsible for:

• Teaching undergraduate-level Architecture courses and design studios.
• Conducting and supervising architectural design studios, critiques, juries, and student projects.
• Planning and delivering lectures, studio sessions, assignments, assessments, and other learning activities.
• Guiding students in architectural design, conceptual development, research, technical documentation, and presentation.
• Incorporating contemporary digital tools, AI-assisted workflows, and emerging technologies into architectural education where academically appropriate.
• Encouraging students to explore sustainable design, innovative materials, emerging construction practices, and evolving trends in architecture.
• Developing course materials, studio briefs, assignments, assessments, and learning activities aligned with contemporary academic and professional practices.
• Mentoring students and providing constructive feedback throughout the design and learning process.
• Contributing to curriculum development, departmental activities, academic meetings, exhibitions, juries, workshops, and other academic responsibilities.
• Supporting a collaborative studio culture that encourages creativity, critical thinking, experimentation, and professional development.

Required Qualifications & Background

• Candidates must meet the applicable eligibility criteria for the position of Lecturer or Assistant Professor in Architecture.
• Relevant academic qualifications in Architecture from a recognized institution.
• Valid registration with PCATP (Pakistan Council of Architects and Town Planners) is required.
• Strong academic and/or professional background in Architecture and architectural design.
• Relevant university-level teaching and studio experience will be preferred.
• Professional architectural practice and industry exposure will be an advantage.
• Strong understanding of contemporary architectural design, construction, sustainability, and digital design practices.
• Familiarity with relevant architectural software, digital tools, AI, and emerging technologies.
• Strong presentation, communication, mentoring, and student engagement skills.
• Ability to contribute effectively to design studios, academic activities, and departmental development.
