ARCHIVIST

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Archival Science / Library / Information Science or a related field
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English (both written and spoken)
• Practical knowledge of archival processes
• Detail-oriented, organised and methodical in work execution
• Familiarity with archival systems or databases; exposure to AI tools is an advantage
• Preferably 1–3 years of relevant experience in archival or records management

Job Description:

• Implement established archival policies and procedures in daily operations
• Manage archival collection processing and operations
• Carry out acquisition, evaluation, accessioning, arrangement and description of archival materials
• Handle archival materials in accordance with established preservation procedures
• Perform digitisation of archival materials, including scanning, file naming and quality control
• Assist researchers, staff and stakeholders in accessing archival materials
• Any other tasks and duties as assigned by the University from time to time
