Your new role:

Due to the expansion of our business in the area, we have a vacancy for an Area Support General assistant who is willing to travel between sites in London and the Home Counties. You will be working 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7. £33,280 per year, plus mileage allowance

As a Signature Dining Area Support General assistant you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your passion and creativity. Stepping in to support in multiple sites, you will have the opportunity to take responsibility, and to expand and develop your role.

Responsibilities:

• Support catering teams in providing a cooked from fresh daily food offer for the residents and patients
• Provide support for multiple sites, covering short or long term absences
• Prepare meals to the highest possible standards, using fresh ingredients, and presented with love and care.
• Provide daily breakfast, lunch, and evening meals.
• Keep up to date with the menus and what food is on offer.
• Ensure that COSHH, food safety, and health and safety legislation are followed.

• Be available for an immediate start
• Be experienced, creative, and passionate about cooking with fresh produce.
• Be flexible and adaptable
• Have a Full Driving License and be willing to travel to multiple sites
• be able to commit to working 40 hours per week
• Possess excellent culinary skills and be up to date with current food trends.
• Be comfortable engaging with vulnerable adults and their relatives.
• Have excellent communication and people skills.
• Have completed Health & Safety and Food Safety Training to level 2
