Area Manager

Responsibilities:

• Formulate fruitful business development strategies to ensure long-term success
• Set standards and objectives for different stores
• Optimize and oversee operations to ensure efficiency
• Effective Planning of manpower, stocks and other resources.
• Lead a team of store managers towards effective collaboration and attainment of goals
• Undertake sound financial management to ensure stores are profitable and stay within budget
• Manage and monitor sales team to achieve sales targets for assigned territories and overall business objective
• Ensure all marketing campaigns/activities information are communicated effectively to all team members and executed successfully
• Deal with problems by providing creative and practical solutions
• Ensure all outlets comply with company policies, visual merchandising standards, safety rules, and local laws.
• Assist management in decisions for expansion or acquisition
• Leading both new shop openings and permanent store closures from initial planning to completion.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in retail industry industry
• Proven experience as store manager, area manager, assistant manager or similar managerial role
• Sound understanding of optimization of store operations and standards for success
• strong track record of success within prior experience in a regional sales role
• Highly responsibility and uphold good integrity and honesty
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
• Excellent organizational and leadership abilities
• Diploma / Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or related field
• Candidates with strong relevant experience but without tertiary education will be considered.
• Fluent in English & Mandarin, both oral and written
• Travel frequently is required
