Area Manager

Requirements:

• Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 10–15 years of experience in Drilling or Workover & Well Services Operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Strong hands-on experience in rig operations, well intervention, well services, and drilling/workover equipment.
• Strong understanding of HSSE standards and oil & gas regulations.
• Proven ability to analyze NPT, downtime, operational efficiency, and rig performance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Able to work in field/rig locations and manage multiple operational areas.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to lead and develop Rig Superintendents, Rig Managers, and field crews.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee Drilling, Workover and Well Services operations across multiple rigs and work locations, ensuring safe and efficient execution.
• Ensure operations are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved programs, procedures, and client requirements.
• Monitor operational performance, including NPT, downtime, HSE performance, job completion, and rig utilization.
• Lead operational problem-solving and make critical decisions during well, rig, and emergency situations.
• Coordinate with Rig Superintendents, clients, contractors, vendors, and supporting functions.
• Ensure readiness and optimal utilization of rigs, well services equipment, manpower, and contractors.
• Evaluate operational performance and implement efficiency, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with HSSE standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, contractors, government/regulatory bodies, and internal stakeholders regarding operational matters.
