Area Manager

Job Summary:

The Area Manager will be accountable for developing and implementing sales strategy and plan for her/his respective store for achieving company's sales number.

Responsibilities:

1. Plan, manage and be responsible for the full operations of the cluster of outlets assigned.
2. Lead and motivate the retail team towards meeting sales targets and the company’s required standard of customer service. Build and coach a strong team of committed and effective retail sales force.
3. Collate sales, trend data, analyse and review to meet the business objectives and to facilitate planning.
4. Achieve top line sales revenue and other financial KPIs.
5. Work with merchandising and warehouse teams to ensure that the right products are distributed to the stores to meet revenue and inventory objectives.
6. Monitoring and controlling the efficiency of stores on daily basis; including sales performance & strategy, inventory management, advertising & promotion and etc.
7. Work closely with the retail team to upgrade skills and knowledge of the team members in order to meet the needs of the business.
8. Gather and analyse industry, market and competitor information.
9. Manage customers’ feedback. Work with after sales services Operations team whenever necessary.
10. Maintaining relationship, communicating & negotiating with all area partners also implementing changes and improvement required by the management.
11. Performs any other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

1. 5 - 8 years experience in similar capacity within the retail industry with proven track records
2. Highly driven, collaborative and brings along infectious energy!
3. Able to cope with tight deadlines and loves a good challenge
