Area Manager

We are seeking an experienced Area Manager with 10-15 years of proven experience in the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and Refinery sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing a designated project area, ensuring safe, efficient, and successful execution of EPC projects while maintaining schedule, quality, and budget requirements.

This position is ideal for professionals who have worked with leading EPC contractors on major brownfield or greenfield projects and possess strong leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all construction, engineering, and project activities within the assigned area.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, project specifications, and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning teams to achieve project milestones.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Manage contractors, subcontractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Review construction plans, schedules, and resource requirements.
• Ensure effective communication with client representatives, project management teams, and stakeholders.
• Drive productivity improvements while maintaining project deliverables.
• Support project reporting, forecasting, and performance measurement activities.
• Ensure adherence to project budget, cost controls, and contractual obligations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 10-15 years of experience within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, or Process Plant projects.
• Demonstrated experience working for or alongside major EPC contractors
• Proven track record managing large-scale EPC projects from execution through commissioning.
• Strong understanding of construction management, project controls, and HSE regulations.
• Excellent leadership, planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in the Middle East is highly desirable.
