Area Manager | North Carolina

Lead and support Massage Envy locations across North Carolina and earn up to $65,000–$80,000 annually, plus uncapped commission and bonus opportunities.

Are you a hands-on, results-driven leader who knows how to coach managers, build strong teams, and grow a business? Massage Envy is looking for an experienced Area Manager to lead and support locations throughout North Carolina.

In this role, you’ll partner with location managers to strengthen sales, elevate the member and guest experience, develop high-performing teams, and drive consistent operational results. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while helping people feel their best.

What You’ll Do

• Visit and support North Carolina locations, working directly with each manager to identify what is helping or hurting performance.
• Review weekly sales, membership, retail, staffing, labor, and service metrics; turn the numbers into clear action plans for each location.
• Coach managers on how to improve conversion, membership sales, retail performance, guest recovery, and team accountability.
• Help managers hire, onboard, train, and retain strong front desk and service-provider teams.
• Step in on challenging employee, customer, and operational issues, while developing managers to handle them confidently on their own.
• Hold regular one-on-ones and performance conversations with location leaders, setting expectations and following through on results.
• Partner with leadership on business goals, promotions, staffing needs, and plans to grow revenue across the market.
• Ensure every location is clean, compliant, fully staffed, and delivering the kind of experience that keeps members coming back.

What We’re Looking For

• Management experience in retail, hospitality, wellness, fitness, service, or a similar fast-paced environment.
• A strong background in sales leadership, coaching, and performance management.
• Someone who can motivate teams, hold people accountable, and confidently navigate difficult conversations.
• A strategic, organized leader who can prioritize, analyze business performance, and solve problems quickly.
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
• A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
