About the role:

We are on the hunt for a driven Area Manager to oversee multiple contracts for a division in our Central Wellington Team.

This well-supported role reports to the Regional Operations Manager and is supported by a wealth of experienced managers across the region.

Reporting to you is an Area Supervisor.

You will be responsible for end-to-end management of site operations, ensuring our contractual obligations are not only met, but are exceeded. You will have a keen eye for detail and understand the effective mobilisation and management of your teams on site.

You will be responsible for personnel management, operational planning, client relationship management, payroll, compliance with Health and Safety, providing training and overseeing the day-to-day quality of service and continuous improvement.

This is not a 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday role; evening and weekend work will be required.

You will, of course, be provided with a company vehicle; therefore, a full New Zealand driver's licence is a must! 

About You:

Experience in multi-site operations at a management level within the Property Maintenance/Cleaning industry is highly advantageous.

It goes without saying that you will need to have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and demonstrated experience in coaching and developing others.

You will also be a proven problem solver with a solution-oriented approach.

 As an organisation with a strong client focus, you will have demonstrated experience in fostering long-term relationships based on trust and loyalty.

The role also requires a results-driven, pragmatic approach and demonstrated ability to perform efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
