Area Manager CZ

We are currently looking, on behalf of a leading company in the fashion industry, for an Area Manager.

The candidate will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the stores within the assigned area, ensuring the achievement of sales and performance targets, supporting Store Managers in team management, and ensuring the consistent implementation of the company’s strategies and standards.

Competencies:

• People Management: coordinate, train and develop Store Managers and sales teams; support recruitment, performance evaluation and workforce planning in line with the company budget.
• Store & Sales Management: oversee stores through regular visits, monitor sales and productivity KPIs, and define action plans to improve performance.
• Business Planning: develop and implement area business plans, manage the budget and monitor sales, profitability and productivity targets.
• Merchandising & Marketing: monitor stock levels, sales trends and product performance; collaborate with Merchandising and Marketing on local initiatives and ensure compliance with Visual Merchandising guidelines.
• Operations & Administration: supervise store operations and administrative activities, including cash management, inventory control, documentation, travel expenses and compliance with personnel-related requirements.
• Omnichannel: oversee and develop omnichannel services such as Click & Collect, Ship from Store and Online Fulfilment, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
• Territory Management: assess potential locations, manage new store openings and renewals, and collaborate with the Real Estate Department in managing relationships with shopping malls and retail centres.

Requirements:

• Degree or Diploma.
• At least 3 years of experience in similar roles, preferably within structured retail environments.
• Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience in coordinating and developing teams.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and decision-making abilities.
• Strong results orientation, proactivity and entrepreneurial mindset.
• High attention to detail, quality and respect for deadlines.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and influencing skills across different levels and functions.
• Ability to develop and motivate people with an assertive and pragmatic approach.
• In-depth knowledge of retail processes and operations.
• Fluent Czech.
• Good knowledge of English.

CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT: Permanent contract

Fixed salary range : 35.000€-45.000€ + incentive system + Company car
