Area Manager - Mining

Sahara Workwear is looking for a hands-on, results-driven PPE Store Area Manager to oversee multiple PPE and workwear stores within the assigned region.

The successful candidate will ensure excellent client service, accurate stock control, strong store performance and full compliance with company procedures.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing and supporting store teams across multiple sites
• Monitoring sales, stock levels, stock counts and replenishment
• Ensuring stores meet client service-level requirements
• Conducting regular site visits, store audits and performance reviews
• Investigating stock variances and implementing corrective action
• Training, coaching and managing staff performance
• Ensuring compliance with PPE, safety, operational and financial procedures
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Submitting accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports

Minimum requirements:

• Previous experience managing multiple retail, PPE, workwear or stores
• Strong stock-control, reporting and administrative skills
• Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving ability
• Computer literacy, including Excel
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel between sites
• Experience in mining, industrial, safety or PPE environments will be an advantage

Pay: R10 000,00 - R38 000,00 per month
