Street Smash Burgers was born in Lisbon in 2024 with a simple idea: going back to the roots of the burger with quality product and the smash technique. 100% beef, an open kitchen and a casual, authentic atmosphere. Today we’re growing across nearly 40 restaurants in 4 countries, and we’re looking for people with the drive to learn, energy and rhythm to grow with us.

The role

You’ll lead our restaurants in the Porto area, owning results, quality and team development across every store. You’ll be the link between HQ and the floor, and the person our Store Managers count on.

What you’ll do

• Own sales, profitability and growth in your area: track store KPIs, build improvement plans and bring development proposals to management
• Oversee day-to-day operations and step into stores when significant issues come up
• Coordinate teams and shifts, giving hands-on operational guidance
• Apply company procedures and train Store Managers so every team follows them consistently
• Review product quality regularly and keep HACCP and workplace-safety standards on track
• Roll out HQ directives and new initiatives across all stores in your area
• Hire Shift Managers, evaluate team performance, set corrective actions and flag other hiring needs to HQ

Who we’re looking for

Must-have

• 3+ years as Area Manager / District Manager in restaurants or multi-site retail
• Proven ability to lead and motivate large teams
• Strong results orientation and business data analysis skills
• Advanced Excel and main management software skills
• Flexibility to travel frequently between stores in the Porto area, with a valid driver’s license (Category B) and willingness to use your own vehicle
• Professional working proficiency in Portuguese and English

Nice-to-have

• Experience in QSR / fast casual
• Experience in a startup or during rapid expansion of a restaurant chain
• Professional working proficiency in Spanish
• Degree in Business, Management or equivalent
