AREA MANAGER/Operations Manager – JOB DESCRIPTION

The role involved in responsible for the overall operational and commercial performance of assigned sites/area, ensuring effective manpower management, service quality, client satisfaction, compliance, and timely closure of operational and commercial matters.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manpower & Team Management

• Plan and monitor manpower deployment across assigned sites.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, grooming, discipline, and performance.
• Identify performance gaps and ensure necessary training, coaching, or corrective action.
• Ensure proper onboarding and induction of new employees.

2. Site Operations & Service Quality

• Conduct regular site visits and monitor service delivery as per company and client requirements.
• Identify operational gaps, recurring pest/service issues, and ensure timely corrective action.
• Ensure RCA, CAPA, and preventive actions are implemented and followed through to closure.
• Monitor overall site performance and drive continuous improvement.

3. Client Management

• Maintain professional and healthy relationships with clients.
• Act as the key point of contact for operational concerns and escalations.
• Understand client requirements and ensure timely fulfilment within the agreed scope.
• Handle critical and repeated client complaints with appropriate escalation and follow-up.

4. Complaint & Escalation Management

• Ensure all client complaints are addressed promptly.
• Track issues from Issue → RCA → Corrective Action → Preventive Action → Closure.
• Ensure every issue has a responsible person and defined closure timeline.
• Escalate unresolved or critical matters through the appropriate hierarchy.

5. Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure required operational, statutory, safety, training, and employee documents are maintained.
• Keep assigned sites audit-ready and ensure compliance with company SOPs, client requirements, and applicable standards.
• Track audit observations and ensure corrective actions are completed within timelines.

6. Billing & Commercial Follow-up

• Coordinate timely preparation and submission of monthly bills.
• Ensure billing documents and supporting records are complete and accurate.
• Follow up with clients for bill acceptance, processing, and payment.
• Track pending bills, discrepancies, and payment delays and escalate when required.

7. Overall Accountability

• Take ownership of assigned sites from manpower deployment through service delivery, client satisfaction, compliance, billing, and payment realization.
• Coordinate with Operations, HR, Finance, and Head Office wherever cross-functional support is required.
• Ensure issues are not merely reported but actively followed up until closure.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹36,072.00 per month
