Area Operations Supervisor

Role Description

The job purpose of an Area Supervisor is to lead and oversee operational activities within designated areas or multiple regions or areas within a larger scope. They are involved in setting strategic goals, overseeing performance metrics, analyzing operational processes for improvement, handling escalated issues and collaborating with management to align area operations with overall organizational objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Leads and manages operational activities within designated areas
• Supervises and mentors a team of Junior Supervisors and operational staff
• Develops and implements strategies to optimize operational efficiency and productivity
• Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations
• Monitors and analyzes key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement
• Collaborates with other departments to streamline workflows and resolve issues
• Conducts regular assessments and audits to maintain quality standards
• Implements training programs to enhance team performance and skills development
• Acts as a point of escalation for operational issues and provide timely resolutions
• Prepares comprehensive reports on operational performance and suggest improvements
• Develop and implement effective strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets.
• Monitor sales performance regularly and take proactive steps to address gaps or challenges.
• Timely submission of required reports.
• Conducts regular store visits.

Qualifications

• A holder of Bachelor’s Degree in BS Administration, Business Management, Marketing, Operations or equivalent
• At least 2 years of leadership or people management experience
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Retail/Product Operations and customer care
• Proven track record in process improvement and optimizing operational workflows
• Amenable to work in a full in-office set up at Mandaluyong City, with field work requirements
