AREA RETAIL SUPERVISOR

Job Responsibilities:-

1) Business Development

• Constantly analyse business and create action plans to address identified sales/execution opportunities, integrating store visit observations with recorded checklist and weekly store level sales results.

• Optimize traffic opportunities through review of store work rosters and coaching with means of improvement.

• Know the visual merchandising standards and guidelines and ensure they are maintained at store level and work within the company guidelines to ensure the Visual Merchandising is brand appropriate, maximizes sales opportunities and exceeds company standards.

• Manage & coach the Store Managers on retail KPI. Coach and train retail team members on products, service standards and brand value.

• Actively coach and develop store team members to drive team performance and build successes, fostering high levels of accountability and autonomy.

• Support Omni-Channel team in developing sales capabilities and consistent customer experience across multiple channels; advise on opportunities to push boundaries for new customer touchpoints in line with the brand direction.

2) Operations

• Set and drive the highest operational standards in the stores in line with company standards both back and front of house – and to support the Management teams to achieve these standards.

• Manage the team communication with stores/merchandising team/logistics team regarding inventory needs, stocks allocations, delivery pre-alerts and Operations standards.

• Build strong, diverse teams, with a blend of experience, skills and potential, which work together to share resources and best practice, and to support each other to achieve common goals.

• Demonstrate the key drivers of employee engagement and know how to create engagement around the employer brand.

3) Human Capital

• Demonstrate the key drivers of employee engagement and know how to create engagement around the employer brand.

• Build talent by assessing strengths and developmental opportunities, encouraging, and discussing career development and providing opportunities for learning through delegating responsibility and following up on execution. Build internal bench / succession plan with Retail Operations Manager. Motivate the good, reward the best.

• Develop a consumer centric service culture throughout the stores by spending time in stores, reinforcing the use of company provided training tools and personally leading by example and equipping the store Managers to implement customer service processes and to ensure their teams demonstrate behaviours and values consistent with delivering outstanding service.

4) Administrative

• Ensures all administrative procedures like the commission payout, time attendance checks, store maintenance etc are executed accurately and on time.

• Works closely with DTC back-office team and HR to support the manpower requirements in stores.

• Assist ad hoc projects from time to time.

Job Responsibilities:-

• 3 years of experience in Sales and Retail Operations management.

• Passion for retail and able to engage assertively with retail team on the ground.

• Independent, disciplined and self-motivated.

• Strong interpersonal, communication and motivational skills.

• Strong organizational, analytical, planning skills and business acumen.

• Has the ability to make quick decisions and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledgeable with Microsoft MS and understand retail operating system applications.

• Mobility to travel between store locations is required.
