Area Sales Executive (ASE)

Location: Chakan, Pune

Department: Sales

Experience Required: 2–4 years in Sales (FMCG preferred)

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for the Chakan region
• Lead, guide, and monitor the daily performance of the reporting sales team (Sales Officers/Representatives)
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key outlets
• Ensure proper product availability, visibility, and merchandising at retail points
• Plan and execute market beat plans/route plans for the team
• Identify new market opportunities and expand the retail/distributor network
• Track competitor activities and market trends, and report insights to management
• Ensure timely collection of payments and resolve distributor/retailer issues
• Conduct regular field visits to support the team and check market execution
• Prepare and share daily/weekly/monthly sales reports with management

Requirements

• 2–4 years of experience in Sales, preferably in FMCG/Dairy/Food industry
• Prior experience in handling or leading a small sales team is preferred
• Good knowledge of the Chakan/Pune market and distribution network
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Basic computer knowledge (Excel, WhatsApp, reporting tools)
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
• Graduate in any discipline (preferred)

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
