Area Sales Manager (ASM)

Sales & Business Development

• Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Develop new customers and generate business from fleet owners, transporters, logistics companies, and industrial clients.
• Identify market opportunities and expand the customer base within the assigned territory.  Conduct customer visits, product presentations, and commercial discussions.

Dealer & Channel Management

• Develop and manage dealer/distributor networks.
• Support dealers in lead generation, sales conversions, and customer relationship management.
• Monitor dealer performance and ensure achievement of sales objectives.

Customer Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Handle customer inquiries, quotations, negotiations, and order closures.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely order execution and customer satisfaction.

Market Intelligence

• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
• Gather customer feedback and provide market insights to management.
• Recommend strategies for business growth and market expansion.

Reporting & Coordination

• Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and territory performance reports.
• Maintain customer databases and sales records.
• Coordinate with Production, Dispatch, Finance, and Service teams for smooth order fulfillment.
